Dwyane Wade, basketball legends for headline -nba on Prime

Salt Lake City -The NBA legend and partial owner of Utah Jazz, Dwyane Wade, will bring his talents to the booth next season.

Prime Video announced that Wade, Candace Parker, Steve Nash and Udonis Haslem will anchor reporting in the first NBA season of the platform.

This announcement was followed by an earlier one who unveiled Taylor Rooks, Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki as hosts and analysts in the network.

In a press release, Prime explained that Wade would switch between analyst tasks in games and studios.

“I am pleased to join the NBA in the Prime team as an analyst at this crucial moment for Prime video of the NBA,” said Wade. “After 16 years on the pitch and the time as a broadcaster, I can hardly wait to continue to share my unique perspective and bring the energy of the game to fans at home.”

Wade quoted Prime's contribution and said: “Go time.”

NBA strikes Broadcast deal with Amazon, ESPN

According to reports, the NBA will have a new home in Amazon Prime Video for some of its biggest games in the 2025-26 season.

According to Andrew Marchand from The Athletic, the NBA and Amazon have agreed on a more than decades of deal, which will place some of the league programs on the streaming giant.

“The NBA and the Amazon Prime video have a framework for an agreement that will make the streamer one of the houses for significant regular seasonal and post -season games for a decade,” published Marchand on social media.

ESPN will allegedly continue to play the regular season and the NBA final, while Amazon has a package that contains the conference final.

In 2023, the jazz announced that Wade had joined the organization's owner group.

Before he came to jazz, Wade played 16 seasons in the NBA, 14 as a member of the heat. Wade withdrew from play in 2019. The heat withdrew in 2020.

The native Chicagoer came 13 times NBA All-Star and three times NBA champion.
