Garrison, the youngest child of Janelle and Kody, died of suicide in March 2024 at the age of 25.

The episode on Sunday contained the heartbreaking Fallout of Garrison's death.

In one scene, Meri prepares for a sit-down interview with the crew of the show for her birthday. She soon notices that Kody calls her.

“You want to take it?” A producer asks. “No. He can write me an SMS if he needs me,” replies Meri and suspects that it is nothing urgent, but notices that it is “strange” that he would call it at that moment.

After trying to call Kody again, Meri appears confused and added: “I have already written an SMS.”

In the next moment she announces the crew that it is an emergency, and answers the phone and looks alerted when she says: “What?”

The screen fades black before a message appears and read: “On March 5, 2024, Kody and Janelle's son Garrison died.”

In a later interview, Meri is reminiscent of the call with Kody and informs her about Garrison's death.

“He told me the words that I will never forget,” she recalls. “He goes, 'Garrison committed suicide.' And it was like this strange, strange, surreal moment that – how – No, not one of our children. No, you won't do that. You know? “She says. And he says' no ''”

Meri explains that she then went to Kody and Robyn's house when she rose to Gwendlyn, one of Kody and Christine's five daughters.

“My goodness, she just came out and she just attached herself as it was on me. Oh god. When I didn't even know what to do,” says Meri.

At the time of Garrison's death, Janelle announced the news on Instagram and wrote: “Kody and I are deeply sad to announce the loss of our beautiful young Robert Garrison Brown.

“He was a ray of hope in the life of everyone who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that we take our breath away. We ask you to respect our privacy and to honor his memory with us.”
