The democratic candidates for the mayor of Syracuse recently gathered in the debate for the first time to answer questions about how they would lead the city for the next four years.

The deputy mayor Sharon Owens, the common city council Chol Majok and the common city councilor Pat Hogan discussed topics such as housing, youth crime, re -evaluation of property tax and poverty for an hour.

Syracuse.com organized and organized the debate in cooperation with the New House School of Public Communications by Syracuse University. That was broadcast live online. It can be completely viewed in the video player above or on YouTube.

The main election is Tuesday, June 24th. Early elections Saturday, June 14th. The winner will earn the democratic line after the ballot paper in November.
