Spring training: Brookwood Broncos

The latest edition of the Spring Practice Tour led me to a familiar team that is always in the Corky Kell Classic in the Brookwood Broncos.

Player to see:

Brayden Tyson As a real newcomer, Tyson broke into the scene and continued to develop as one of the best running backs in the country. One thing that you can never question is his physicality and effort. You can see it when he ends this run. Always brings it to every game. In 2024 he hurried for 2,123 yards and 26 touchdowns. Has any offer you can imagine and only gets better. He picked up an offer from the state of Mississippi last weekend.

Zayden Walters- Big Zayden “Zeus” Walter stands up with 6,4 and 320 pounds. The offensive lineman had a productive winter and spring and was active in spring practice to create holes for return and be an anchor in pass protection. He has a strong lower body that enables him to quickly get out of the ball and move defensive linemen.

Julian Elzey- Elzey is an all-round special player. He is primarily a security, but I had the chance to see him a little offensive and I was more impressed. His ability to create separation on the route at the top of the route noticed. I am not sure whether Brookwood will use him on the offensive, but he did a case that he will do well at WR. Elzey recently picked up offers from Miami and Virginia Tech. It will not be long before it is a national view.

Bryce green Green was one of my favorite running backs. It has speed, electricity and mobility in a return. He will take you over and use his speed to loosen. Green is another talented return in the Broncos that runs back.

ATH Deyron moan- In addition to Brayden Tyson, Brookwood has a deep running group. 2026 RB Deeyron Groce is a versatile back that races between the duels, from which Backfield can catch and make plays. He can also play the Slot recipient, which makes him an even more dangerous weapon. His ability to play will be shown this season @Dey23Groce

Action lines:

New quarterback: Brookwood has a new quarterback at Gary Chatman Jr. Chatman Jr. is a quarterback with two threats that throws a tight spiral. He showed some of his running ability throughout the training. He will have a lot of playmakers to bring the ball into the coming season.

Tempo crime: Brookwood ran a lot of crime in practice and was able to signal a new change under head coach Chad Nighbert. The Broncos started to practice at a pace of pace training, and ran about 4-5 games in less than 20 seconds and moved up and down quickly. The pace in which you practice could be an indicator of more of what will come in 2025.

Defender back room: Brookwood has a talented defensive back room and could be one of the better in the state. We mentioned Elzey earlier, who will do the security position, but he did not run with the defensive back in training and instead ran with the latitudes. However, Kris Brunson, Zy'aire Conaway, Sean King, Damyon Pearson and Tyson Boothe flashed in training. All of these children have their own characteristics, but together they do a special group that flies to the ball can cover well and is technically very good. In most cases you will see a super-talented defensive back, but the rest of the secondary level are missing. This is not the case with Brookwood because they can fulfill all their role and thrive in it.

Brookwood was supposed to be a competitive team in 2025 and with the parts they return and let the game run with parts at certain skill positions. You can take a close look at the Broncos in Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic in August.
