The 10-year-old girl hit, killed by Baum, who fell on her house in Atlanta

(Atlanta)-a 10-year-old girl was hit and killed by a tree who fell on her house in Atlanta this weekend, blewing through the city as severe storms, said officials.

According to Atlanta Fire Rescue, six people lived in the house where the tree crashed around 3 a.m.

The 10-year-old, who was identified by the family as A'erica Shukai, was killed and her mother and grandmother were injured in stable condition and admitted to the hospital, said fire officers.

A'erica was in bed next to her grandmother when the tree fell, said A'erica's cousin Tomeka Dixon.

A'erica's mother was released, but her grandmother stays in the hospital, Dixon told ABC News on Monday.

A'erica, who loved cheerleading and Tikok videos, turned 10 on April 15, said Dixon.

She survived from her mother, grandmother, two sisters and her brother. A'erica's father died two years ago “and the family still mourns his loss,” said Gofundme from Dixon.

“I'm just trying to be there for my family,” she said.

“We ask that all Georgians pray for their loved ones in this difficult time,” wrote the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp on social media.

The family plans to organize a vigil at candlelight on Friday evening, said Dixon.
