This K drama has a perfect score in rotting tomatoes and critics who definitely did it correctly

It was three years ago since I immersed my toes for the first time in the K-Drama scene, and after I have countless heart-warming South Korean shows Bing, I can confidently say that it was one of the most delightful (and unexpected) twists on my television search.

Title like Business proposalPresent Answer 1988 And Crash landing on you I helped myself to relax on stressful days. But this time I would like to draw your attention to Netflix, which currently considers a perfect rating of 100 percent for Rotten Tomatoes-Crash course in romance.

The series follows Nam Haeng-Seon (Jeon Do-Yeon), a restaurant owner and a single mother who climbs on the wrong foot with a mysterious guy with whom she crosses the paths. This mystery type Choi Chi-Yeol (Jung Kyung-Ho) is unknown to Haeng-Seon, a hot shot promi teacher who teaches a competitive math course that her daughter has Really wants in. and in another Fun Twist, Chi-Yeol is obsessed with Haeng Seons after trying it for the first time without knowing that the owner of the restaurant is the same woman he came across.

As you can imagine, the scenario leads to unpleasant encounters, many disputes and finally to an unlikely love story. Here is why it is worth your time.

1. The main characters are middle -aged

Tvn

Almost every romantic K drama that I have seen so far (from 25, twenty -one To Love next door) revolves around a younger couple, with older characters usually fall out. In this case, however, there is an emerging romance between a middle -aged professor and a hard -working mother who has given up her future as a professional athlete to take care of her daughter.

It is incredibly refreshing to see that a relationship between older, wiser and rounded people develops, especially if they have such different personalities. Yes, you have your defects and you have not found all aspects of your life, but there is a maturity that is added to this unlikely pairing because you have gone through some things. And it is astonishing to see how they develop when they continue to support each other. What brings me to my next point …

2. Jeon do-yeon and Jung Kyung-Ho

Tvn

The main characters felt so authentic thanks to Jeon and boys. For example, I could almost feel the weight of the responsibility for Chi-yeol's shoulders when he tried to maintain his public image while he had to struggle privately with his health. And as far as Haeng-Seon is concerned, her passion and persistence are impressive, even if she leads her business, takes care of her younger brother and plans her daughter's entrance exams.

In view of the depth that these actors contributed to their respective roles, it is no wonder that their chemistry was out of the charts. (To be honest, everything it needs is a persistent look to make me passed out.)

3. It examines the pressure of the Korean education system

Tvn

This is a huge topic in the series, and when someone who grew up that my academic success has determined my value, I would say that this hit is pretty close to home.

The series illuminates some of the hard realities with which the pupils illuminate the top grades and long hours of additional tutoring due to the competitive assessment, the pressure of their parents. It is so clear that these things demand a huge mental and emotional tribute to the students, but it is particularly fascinating to see how the effects of this system affect their family and friendships.

For example, for mothers, it is considered normal to run to the place of the Kids Academy courses so that they can secure the best seats. And then there are students with strict parents who expect they to meet impossible standards to ensure a successful career. It is a heartbreaking memory of how incorrect the education system can be, and I like that it raises valid questions about how society defines success.

Tl; DR? If you are looking for a heartwarming film with incredible spectacle and some interesting cultural snack bars, take a look Crash course in romance on Netflix as soon as possible.
