The improved insurance assessment of JH Fire could reduce the prices of the residents

Jackson, Wyo.-Jackson Hole Fire/Ems announced on Friday, May 2, that residents and business owners due to an improved examination board of Insurance Services Office Inc. (ISO), a profit-oriented organization that evaluates the fire brigade and fire brigade could determine lower insurance costs.

The improved evaluation value came into force on May 1st.

According to JH Fire/Ems, ISO visits to collect information about the fire protection efforts of Jackson Hole Fire/Ems in the city and in the district, and then analyzed the relevant data based on the valuation time plan for fire fighting. The assessment is based on four factors: the fire brigade's ability to maintain and react fire alarms; Checking the equipment, staff and training of the fire brigade; the water supply system; and emergency communication systems.

Teton County wrote about press release that the ISO audit in the city of Jackson improved from a class 5 to a class 4 evaluation and improved from a class 6/10 in Teton County. The program for public protection classification (PPC) is between 1 and 10, whereby class 1 corresponds to superior fire protection and class 10, which does not meet the region's fire suppression program, the ISO of ISO does not meet.

“Many insurance companies use ISO rating for the insurance and calculation of the premiums for residential, commercial and industrial properties,” wrote Teton County.

The ISO evaluation for Jackson Hole Fire/EMS does not include residents and companies in the village of Teton, as they are served by the Teton Village Special Fire District with their own ISO evaluation.

Teton County asks the owners of owners to contact this new ISO rating. A copy of ISO's official letters can be checked on the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS website.
