Hours before the red carpet, the 40 -year -old athlete revealed that he is no longer present due to an injury, even though he is a honorary chairman of the event.

“Unfortunately, because of my knee injury at the end of the season, I can visit the Met Gala in NY this evening because so many people asked me and congratulate me! I hate to miss a historical event!” He wrote on Monday, May 5th, on X.
