The death of Mariadelis Labrador Siles has ruled a suicide, says BCSO

SAN ANTONIO -After almost two months of examination, the office of the Sheriff of the Bexar district found that Mariadelis Labrador Siles died by suicide.

The 28-year-old was reported as missing and later found dead on March 12 in a forest area on the Braun Road and the Mustang Ranch.

“After a thorough investigation of the circumstances in connection with the death of Mariadelis Labrador and in consultation with the results of the office of the district's medical examiner, her death was determined and officially ruled a suicide,” said BCSO on Monday.

Previously, the office of the district of Bexar's medical examiner said that Siles died of a stab wound on the chest. The type of death had not yet been determined.

On March 18, BSCO called for the community members to a surveillance camera or video film material, which was recorded in the region where Siles was found.

“We would like to thank the community for their cooperation in providing statements and film material that supported the investigation. We also expand our condolences to the family and friends of Mariadelis Labrador during this difficult time,” said the department in a statement.
