Madison Co., Ala. (Waff) – One of the three men who were guilty of murdering a grandmother in 2019 was convicted on Monday.

In addition to Adrian Lopez and Quintin Courtney, Khalde Holden was arrested in Ardmore because of the shooting at 72-year-old Dianne Ballard.

All three were charged with capital murder and the first degree.

Holden had met with the victim's grandson in her house to buy marijuana when the other two were charged with weapons, the investigators said.

An investigator said that Holden went into the house and looked at the drugs for almost 30 minutes. Holden then left the room, and then Courtney and Lopez came in with rifles.
