Max Scherzer will not be back on the hill soon.

The Toronto Blue Jays moved the three-time CY Young award winner to the 60-day injury list in a right thumb injury on Monday. The 60 days are retrospectively until his last appearance on March 29, so Scherzer keeps away at least until May 29th.

The move was one of several that made the Blue Jays on Monday. The right-handed Erik Swanson was moved to the 60-day injured list due to a right forearm injury that held him all the season.
