Nevada Senior invited to the NBA Draft Combine

The list of players who were invited to the annual NBA Draft Combine was unveiled last weekend and includes the Nevada Star Guard Kobe Sanders.

In his lonely season in Nevada in 2024-25, Sanders received the “All Mountain West Third Team” award. The 6-foot 9-Sanders scored an average of 16 points, five templates and four rebounds per game. He was fourth in the conference in the aid process and at the same time took the top 10 on points, the Field Goal percentage and the free throw.

Sanders' growth thrust in college and continued development has sat on the radar of the Pro teams, which has led to its latest combine invitation. Sanders scored the 30-point mark in the games against Boise State and UNLV in the games against Boise State and UNLV last season and scored seven templates or more in six games.

He closes Colorado State Star Nique Clifford and San Diego State, Miles Byrd as the three members of the Mountain West teams who are to be invited to this year's combine harvester. The combine harvester will take place in Chicago from May 11th to 18th. The NBA Draft Set for June 25th from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Sanders came in El Cajon in El Cajon as part of the 2020 recruitment class and was 6-foot-5. He scored an average of 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals as a senior, but was largely overlooked by larger schools on the west coast. He wrote down at Cal Poly and played in 20 games as a real newcomer at the age of eight. Sanders started 34 games between his second and junior season and achieved an average of six points or eight points.

He broke out as a junior for the Mustangs and scored an average of 20 points, four rebounds and three assists per game, while he started 29 games. Sanders was an efficient goal scorer who led the Big West conference in free throws and at the same time took fourth place in the Field Goal percentage.

Nevada last had a player moved into the NBA in 2020 when Jalen Harris went to the Toronto Raptors with Pick No. 59. Cody Martin was drawn in in 2019 with Pick No. 36 and reduced his sixth NBA season with the Phoenix Sun. The Wolfpack had three picks in the first round in program history. Kirk Snyder (2004), Javal McGee (2008) and Luke Babbitt (2010).
