The UCLA men's basketball program has five former players in the NBA team squad who were promoted at the semi -finals of the NBA conference and are going on this week.


Jaylen Clark (Minnesota), Jrue Holiday (Boston Celtics), Kevon Looney (Golden State Warriors), Peyton Watson (Denver Nuggets) and Russell Westbrook (Denver) all compete on NBA teams that drove forward in the 2025 afterlife.


This season Watson and Westbrook got together with Denver and helped the Nuggets to reach the semi-finals of the NBA with a seven-game series victory over the Los Angeles Clipper. In the seven-game series, Westbrook scored an average of 13.8 points and 4.8 rebounds, while Watson registered 4.4 points and 2.6 rebounds.


Denver No. 4 will compete in Oklahoma in Oklahoma City in a best-of-Seven game series on Monday at 6:30 p.m. (PT) in Oklahoma City.


Jrue Holiday, who helped Boston in 2024 to win the NBA final, changes this week with the Celtics to the semi -finals of the Eastern Conference. The vacation played in two games in the post -season series with an average of 10.0 points and 5.5 templates per game.


The Boston Celtics with 2-Seed No. 2 defeated the No. 7 seed magic with a 4-1 lead last week and will take over the New York Knicks No. 3 in a best-of-Seven series against No. 3 seeds. Boston will host the Knicks on Monday at 4 p.m. (PT) in game 1.


Kevon Looney, who won Golden State in 2017, 2018 and 2022 NBA title, has developed into the conference semi -final with the Golden State Warriors. Golden State No. 7 won a showdown against Houston against Houston on Sunday evening and put it in a best-of-Seven series against Minnesota Timberwolves No. 6. Looney scored an average of 1.7 points and 2.9 rebounds for the Warriors in all seven games.


Clark played in one of the five games for Minnesota in a best-of-Seven game series against Los Angeles Lakers No. 3. Minnesota with a 103-96 victory in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 30th.


Golden State will open against Minnesota on Tuesday, May 6th. The playing time in the Minnesota Target Center is set at 6:30 p.m. PT (8:30 p.m. CT in Minneapolis).


The UCLA program has won the NBA title in eight of the last nine NBA games at least one of his former players -in the last four. Last summer the vacation helped the Boston Celtics to win the NBA title. In 2024 Watson played for Denver Nuggets when this organization won its first NBA championship. In 2021, the holiday helped Milwaukee Bucks at the NBA championship, while Kevon Looney (Golden State Warriors) was part of his third NBA title man with the Warriors in 2022.
