The Lowcountry family is looking for answers after the death of her son, arrests of his two brothers

Ridgeland, SC (WTOC) – WTOC hears South Carolina for the first time from the family of a shooting pot in Ridgeland.

This shootout took place in November and the family asks to do a little more.

The family says that Rodney's death shaken them and not only has to mourn because of his death, but the arrest of his two older brothers.

The investigators found Rodney Lloyd Jr. with a woman who put pressure on his injuries, surrounded by broken glass and scattered mussel sleeves. It was November 7th last year. As a doctor hurried to the scene and worked on saving his life, the tensions grew – the members of the family arrived, including Lloyd's mother, who collapsed when learning the news.

One person had been arrested in connection with this shooting shop Nylon Chaney. He turned only a few hours after the fatal shooting.

WTOC spoke to Lloyd's grandmother, who demands justice, while the authorities could still examine and other arrests could come.

“We still have to mourn,” said Romona Curthbert, grandmother of the victim. “We haven't mourned the death of Rodney yet. Every day it is like a tragedy.”

This was a few months because the family also has to do with the arrest of his two other brothers, who were supposedly involved in a separate shootout that they claim that the brothers had not committed themselves.

“He has two brothers, Tykell and Tyrice … who are locked up and they don't mourn,” said Curthbert.

The mother of all three who kept a picture of her son who died.

“This is a picture of her little brother who was killed,” said the victim's mother, who did not want to be named.

Lloyd, who was only 21 years old, leaves a little girl who will now grow up without a father.

WTOC is working on collecting more information about Rodney's and collecting the recent arrests of his two older brothers.
