Sacrifice killed by Troy's shootout

The Troy police published the name of the man who was killed at a shootout at the weekend.

The fatal shootout occurred on Saturday around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 Block of the Dunn Circle.

When officials arrived at the scene, several shots were heard. Shortly thereafter, officers found a male victim who lay on the floor and suffered from apparent fires. Officers immediately provided help and started with the HLW until Troy Fire Fire and

Despite life -saving efforts, the victim was later passed away. The victim was identified as a 20-year-old Nyreesh Amari Smith from Pike County.

The Troy police authority actively examines this case and is looking for support to the public.
