Youth driver who was killed after a fatal crash in Broward County

A teenager was killed in an accident in Pompano Beach at the end of April.

According to the Sheriff's Office (BSO) of the Broward County, the crash occurred shortly after 12 p.m. on April 24 near East Copans Road. According to BSO, his investigation showed that Corey Escarment had traveled to the west in a Toyota Highlander in the East Copans Road from 2004 when the vehicle suddenly lost control and hit a tree.

The vehicle was diverted to the alleys in a west direction, where there was a final break.

The crash led to an answer from BSO and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue. Tragically, the banent was declared dead at the crime scene.

Two women were also in the car and were brought to Broward Health North for their injuries.

BSO says that high speeds are viewed as a factor in the crash.
