Samsung dex design leaks for the desktop mode of Android 16 match

Google has slowly built up a “desktop mode” for Android for some time, and it almost seems ready to start with Android 16, and Samsung seems to build on it with a redesign of Dex.

Samsung Dex is a desktop client that is based on Android with which a Galaxy smartphone can run a desktop-like user interface if it is connected to an external monitor or wirelessly connected. Samsung Tablets also have the possibility to use this experience natively on your own advertisement.

With his upcoming Android 16-based UI 8-update, Samsung seems to be working on a redesign of Dex. This was discovered by @Devofipos on Twitter/X, who managed to lead Dex on a Galaxy S25 Ultra -Running One UI 8 to present new changes.

The new Dex uses a window management design, a taskbar that opens to an app drawer, and also a new quick setting design. The changes are not important, and this functionality has all existed so far, but everything seems to be more with the new desktop mode that Google worked on.

We thought that Google could make these improvements to the native experience to benefit Dex, and this quick acceptance seems to indicate that this could at least partially be true.

The same leak shows a better integration of the Galaxy buds in older models, whereby additional blurring appears in a UI 8, the new Quick Sire -app, and it was found that SECURE FALLES with Androids Private Space -API from Google with Android 15.
