Former judges condemn the arrest of Trump's judge by arresting Trump.

More than 150 former state and state judges have signed a letter to Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, who condemns the escalating struggles of the Trump government with the judiciary and describes the recent arrest of a sitting judge in Milwaukee as an attempt.

The judge Hannah C. Dugan from the Milwaukee County Circuit Court was arrested by FBI agents in April for the disability of the immigration official. Judge Dugan is accused of leading an immigrant without papers, going through a side door in their courtroom while agents were waiting to arrest him.

The group of judges who sign the letter was led by Nancy Gertner, a former federal judge, and J. Michael Luttig, a former Attorney General and federal judge. The former federal judges who signed the letter contained those that were appointed by members of both political parties. Ms. Gertner was appointed by President Bill Clinton, and Mr. Luttig was appointed by President George HW Bush in both roles.

“The circumstances of the arrest of Richter Dugan make it clear that it was nothing more than an attempt to threaten the state and federal judges and intimidate to submit to the administration instead of interpreting the constitution and the laws of the United States,” says the letter. “These cynical efforts undermine the rule of law and destroys the trust that the American people have in the judges of the nation in order to manage justice in the court halls and in the halls of justice across the country.”

In the social media last month, Kash Patel, the FBI director, published a picture of judge Dugan in handcuffs, has published a step that the group of judges referred to as “embarrassing spectacle” that violated the policy of the Ministry of Justice.

After the letter from the former judges, Chad Gilmartin, a spokesman for the Ministry of Justice, was referred to on a video by Ms. Bondi, who commented on the case of judge Dugan last month.
