Auburn woman arrested for investigating the vehicle murder after crash was killed her 12-year-old son

A 38-year-old Auburn woman was arrested on Sunday morning on April 27, 2025

The police said that the female suspect was driving west in their Mercedes 2018 at 1:43 a.m. in the Se 416th Street.

“The weight of the evidence shows (the suspect) have driven their Mercedes 2018 in a west direction in SE 416th Street,” said documents of the probable cause. “Tire markings then showed that the vehicle (ED) penetrated into a greed slide. The vehicle slipped over the SE 416th Street, where it influenced the ditch on the south side. The power of the impact made the vehicle launched about 150 feet. The vehicle then stormed at least once before leaving about 700 feet from the street from the 236th.”

When the MPs arrived, they found the suspect who carried out their son near the passenger side of the vehicle HLW.

Unfortunately, despite life -saving efforts, her son was declared dead at 2:11 a.m.

The investigators said no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.

An empty vodka bottle was found in the rubble field, and the police claimed that the suspect smelled of alcohol and admitted to drink that evening.

The suspect told the MPs that she had not driven and claimed that the driver was a friend of her son, but refused to indicate a name, according to the probable cause. Detective said that physical evidence – including the seating position of the vehicle – gave that the suspect was the driver.

It was brought to the HarborView Medical Center for treatment, where a blood draw was carried out as part of a search command. The results are still pending.

The suspect was later admitted to King County's prison to examine a vehicle murder.

At a first hearing on Monday, the prosecutors said that the suspect was not available for medically for the court, so that the deposit was not addressed.

The public prosecutor emphasized that a first appearance after an arrest is not the same as a formal decision that requires a higher burden of proof. In the days after a first appearance, it is routine for the police investigators to send references to prosecutors.

By Monday, the King County prosecutors had not yet received a transfer of crimes from the Sheriff's office, but said that they would soon receive them for a formal decision.
