With sadness we announced the following death for Rosco, South Beloit and Rockton last week:

April 29, 2025:
Janet M. Leidecker, 61, South Beloit
She was born in 1964 and was the daughter of William G. and Evelyn L. (Rhoad) Leidecker. She also lived in Rosco.

Janet Leidecker (1964-2025)

William L. Edwards, 72, South Beloit
He grew up very hard on a milk farm. He found out how to repair agricultural devices, although he had never been trained for it. He spent 30 years as a welder at Taylor Freear, although he had never been trained for it.

Willy Edwards (1952-2025)

Betty May Homer, 101, South Beloit
She attended an 8th grade room school, worked as a secretary after the Second World War and helped to found a scout troop. As an active member of the Rockton United Methodist Church, she traveled in the USA and Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Europe, the British Islands and Asia. She loved antiques and bridge.
