Tyrone Mason Fall NC | Arrest warrant

Raleigh, NC (WTVD) – ABC11 received search commands that reveal details about what led to the death of Tyrone Mason. On October 7, the Raleigh police initially reported that the 31 -year -old Mason had traveled along the Capital Boulevard at high speed and lost control of his vehicle.

According to the search commands, the district prosecutor Lorrin Freeman, together with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, initiated an investigation of a traffic accident.

“From the first day when they came to me and told me that my son died in a car accident. I told them that was not true,” said Mason's mother.

Tyrone Mason died in a crash at the Capital Boulevard.

His mother said her son was the father of five children. She is still incredulous about the death of her son. The family kept the civil rights lawyer Ben Crump when she was looking for justice.

“You would not have released these cases if the video of the Dash Cam and the Body Cam would not give anything on the video that was only afraid of God,” said Crump.

According to the investigators, the investigators stated that Garret Macario tried to stop Mason before the crash. In the documents it was stated that Macarios body cam at 2:32 shows that he calls his supervisor SGT on the phone. Matthew Morrison. Morrison allegedly asked if he called a vehicle hunt over the radio, and Macario said no.

Morrison then said Macario that the traffic accident was the problem of the Raleigh police department before not telling him to stop Mason before the crash.

When the officials arrived at Raleigh, the investigators claim that Macario was asked if he had tried to exceed Mason before the accident. Macario supposedly said no and told the official that he came to the wreck and saw smoke and rubble came out of the vehicle.
