Leaf's goalkeeper Anthony Stolanz, who was taken to the hospital after Hit to Head: Sources

Toronto – According to the league sources, Toronto – The goalkeeper of Toronto Maple Leaf Anthony Stolanz was taken to the hospital for further evaluation after she violated an obvious head injury against the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Stolance took a forearm of Panther's striker Sam Bennett at 7:20 a.m. in the second period and was thrown onto the ice.

Officials stopped the piece immediately, but the stolance initially stayed online. He played even more over two minutes of the game in the actual time over nine minutes before he lowered and handed over to Leaf Bank.

Joseph Woll replaced him and ended a 5: 4 victory in Toronto in game 1 of the second round.

After the game, Leafs trainer Craig Berube reporters said that he did not know how the officials missed a penalty for the piece on the ice.

“Ellbogen to the head,” said Berube. “Sure. Sure like the day.”

The Panthers did not provide Bennett for reporters, although he was asked.

The NHL department still collected information about the incident in the late Monday and it is not clear whether Bennett is exposed to an additional discipline.
