Key moment

The Giants made four mistakes on Monday, and the cubs left them for everyone. A bad litter of Shortstop Willy Adames in a double game in the 6th Inning was particularly expensive and led directly to four runs.

Why the Cubs won

They came to beat again and the pitching was very good, which was more than enough to beat a sloppy San Francisco squad.

Statistics that are important

  • Boyd was in a few early jams, but overall another very good effort: 6 IP, 2 R, 5 h, 7 K, 0 BB.
  • Swanson is absolutely hot at the moment with three more goals on Monday, including a double.
  • Happ has been very good in the past three weeks and it was easy to see how he hit a Homerun.

Conclusion

The Cubs become a team that you cannot make mistakes if you want to win. Chicago -Hitter jump to every opportunity to create big innings and make their own pitching employees much easier. What makes it even more impressive is how many of these games are against a very good competition.
