Girl Btech Student detained in Jabalpur in Jabalpur

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The city police recorded a student (BTech IT year) of the Pandit DWARKA Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology – Design production for allegedly video of fellow students in the bathroom of Girls Hostel.

CSP Ranjhi Satish Kumar Sahu said that the accused student had been imprisoned and electronic devices, including a laptop and a mobile phone, were confiscated for further investigations. A case was registered as part of several sections of the BNS and IT Act, the police said.

The director of IIITDM, Bharatendu Kumar, said that a three -person committee was formed to thoroughly examine the matter.

The girl's host monitor received a complaint from a student student of the fourth B-Tech student that she suspected that someone showed a video in the bathroom on Sunday evening. She told the supervisor that she held a hand in a cell phone in her hand, and when she called, the girl ran away.

The hostel watched the complaint and checked the mobile phones of some girls in the hostel and found stressful videos in the accused's cell phone. The police were then called.

In the meantime, 150 students of the institute demonstrated before the Dumna police post under the Khamaria police and demanded immediate measures against the defendant.

They claimed that the videos were shared on social media to threaten the privacy and dignity of more than 400 students at the institute.

According to reports, the accused sent her friend in Delhi, and this MMS scandal has not yet been completed in the past two years.
