Nikola Jokic makes the NBA story in Nugget's Thunder game 1

Game 1 of the Western Conference semi -final between the Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder came on the cable.

Although Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets were under 10 minutes by 12 points, they remained the course and used their championship experience to roar all the way back, which was completed by an Aaron Gordon three pointer to take over the 121-119 lead with 2.8 seconds to seal the deal.

While Gordon's last heroic deeds will probably take over the headlines, it was the ongoing outstanding achievements that many viewed as the best basketball player in the world, Nikola Jokic, who did something again in the 78-year history of the NBA.

During her Comes-FROM-HOME Game 1 victory, Jokic created NBA history again when he became the first player in league history to score 40 points, collected 20 rebounds, secured five templates and blocking two shots in a playoff game.

Although the three-time NBA did not take home the competitive favorite for a fourth MVP trophy this season, he achieved an average of 29.6 points per competition, while 12.7 rebounds and 10.7 assists per game were added.

Jokic and the Nuggets try a commanding 2-0 series in the lead on Wednesday evening with the tip-off of Game 2 for 9:30 p.m.
