Brevard Grand Jury charged Barber in April for nine charges

Brevard County, Florida – The prosecutor William Scheiner will apply for the death penalty for David A. Barber, who is charged in March for kidnapping and murdering Jessie Kirk, 72, from Titusville.

In the state's knowledge of intent to apply for the death penalty, the following aggravating factors for the capital satisfaction of the intentional murder quotes:
