Ward County 4-H receives honor from State Archery Event | News, sports, jobs

Bismarck-Ward County received several individuals and team top-10 awards for the 4-lift inner archers' championship in the Nishu Bowman Club in Bismarck, which took place on April 12 on April 12th in the Nishu Bowman Club in Bismarck.

This year the first youth had to meet a qualification assessment and took part in three season games to take part in the state championship at the state level. Despite the new requirements, 25 counties were represented, including 17 participants from Ward County.

Inner arch shooting are shared according to age and bug type:

-The age departments include beginners (8-10 years), Junior (11-13) and senior (14-18) and Masters (from 14 years of age who have qualified for national competition).

– Bug departments include Barebow (no sights or publications) and freestyle (either contain a sight or publication).

Senior Freestyle Arcayle Division:

– Fifth place, Teagan Strilcov, Minot, score: 296.

– Third place: Owen Peterson, minot, score: 144.

– Fourth place, Kelby Yoder, Minot, score: 141.

– Third place team, Peterson and Yoder, combined points: 285.
