Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis misses the 2nd half of the games 1 against Knicks because of illness

Boston (AP) – The Celtics Center Kristaps Porzingis did not play in the second half of the 108-105 overtime losses against the New York Knicks in game 1 of the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference due to an illness.

Porzingis was initially not on the team on Monday evening

He came out of the tunnel and joined them briefly into the banking area, but then returned to the changing room. Al Horford started the third quarter in his place.

The Celtics announced that Porzingis was questionable to return with an illness that they specified, not from a ball.

Reserve Sam Hauser also did not return after the game had left with a bricked up right at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Porzingis was 0: 4 in 13 minutes of the first half with four rebounds and assist. Hauser missed his two shots in four minutes.
