Kansas City Man dies at Moped -Crash on the Gregory Boulevard in Raytown

A 29-year-old man from Kansas City died on Monday evening in a collision with a moped and an SUV at the East Gregory Boulevard west of the Evanston Avenue in Raytown, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on May 5 at around 8:55 p.m. when a moped from Taotao 2012 crossed the center of the street in a western direction and issued a Lexus RX450 from 2013 to the east.

The driver of the moped who wore a helmet was transported to the Research Medical Center, where he was at 9:25 p.m. by Dr. Emily Lewendowski was declared dead.

The driver of Lexus, a 41-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was not injured. At the time of the crash, she also wore a seat belt.

Overall, the moped and the Lexus Little were slightly damaged. Both vehicles were towed out of the scene by Elite Tow.
