Megan Thee Hengst broke a really strict rule at the Met Gala 2025. I am so pleased that she did it because the video material is seriously funny.

Fans of the Met gala (or fans of Snarky comments on the outfits of the Met Gala) can know that celebrities are prohibited to use their phones within the event. The guests must not take photos themselves or stream something in social media. I think the logic behind it is that the celebrities should be personally contacted. In addition, fewer video material helps to remain mysterious and exclusive. The employees actually patrol the party and remind everyone on their phone to this rule “polite”.

Megan Thee Hengst decided to ignore this. She “sneaked” her cell phone into the party and filmed for several minutes behind the scenes of the Mot-Gala 2025. She posted the long video on Instagram so that we can all see what is very considerate. The caption reads: “Hottie cam in you met gala 👀😏.”

During the video she admits that “we should not have our phones”, but were still filmed. Queen.

The video begins with Megan Thee Hengst, Doechii and Angel Reese at their dining table. You get a really good view of the glamorous event in the event. Megan filmed the girls button to test each of the fantasy appetizers. They offer their thoughts on corn bread and caviar, white truffle -lobster roll, vegan lox (who viewed Megan as “funny looking”), chicken and cooking banana, truffle cheese, curry chicken paste (apparently “a little dry” and Hamachi sushi.

I am also deeply impressed that all of these legendary girlies managed to eat starters so elegantly with such long nails.

The video will be wilder during the night. We see people who lay down an impressive selection of drinks. Megan says: “We make a scavenger hunt” and then films himself through the Met Gala dance floor to rediscover your friends. She also takes a break to add the seizures of Lupita Nyong, Cynthia Erivo, Serena Williams and Ciara.
