Doctor weighs Cincinnati Reds Outfield Tyler Callihans cruel injury

Cincinnati – The Reds-Outfield Tyler Callihan suffered a broken forearm in the 4-0 loss on Monday evening against the Atlanta Braves.

It was a cruel injury. Callihan made an attempt to catch a fly ball – and most would say that he had caught it – before struck against the left field.

His arm hit the wall awkward. It is one of the ugliest injuries that you will see for an outfield.

Does that mean that he is traveling for the rest of the season?

Dr. David Chao believes that there is a chance that Callihan can return this season. He noticed that both forearm bones were broken by Callihan and that he has to be operated on, but there is at least one chance that the 24-year-old can play again this season.
