Billy Horschel, the golfer, who helped Atlanta to secure the first TGL title in March, has announced that he will take a significant break from the PGA tour due to a recent injury to his right hip.

Horschel had to pull himself out of New Orleans last month after the injury from the Zurich classic classic. Since then he has been looking for medical advice and decided to undergo an operation to solve the problem. He missed the youngest PGA tour event, which was won by Scottie Scheffler, who showed his class with a warm gesture after having to hold tears after a question from Amanda Balionis.

In addition to his TGL triumph, Horschel took part in 12 PGA tour events this season, including the Masters in April, where he did not make it beyond the limit for the weekend. He managed to end the 27th place in the RBC heritage before withdrawing from the couple tournament in New Orleans. On Tuesday, Horschel went to social media to share an emotional message with his followers, and confirmed his blow against the next major of the year, the US PGA championship, right around the corner of Quali Hollow, and had just announced special invitations, including a decision on a LIV golf star.

“Many thanks to everyone who has been equipped in the last few weeks after retreating from the Zurich classic,” said Horschel. “After we talked to doctors and talked to my team, we will have the right hip operation in Colarado early next week.

“It is an unfortunate situation in which so many great events remain in the calendar, but this is a preventive measure. I am really looking forward to starting the rehab and returning to practice.” Horschel also revealed his hope to celebrate a comeback later this year.

“Hopefully I will return to the golf course late summer, early autumn,” he continued. “I have a great support system with my family, friends, sponsors, partners. I can't thank you enough with your continued support. We will get through this and continue to share positive messages about how rehab works.”

Horschel's latest injury is a disappointing turn in an otherwise promising year. He shone in the TGL based in indoor simulator and supported Atlanta to secure the title as the first master of the league. Before Horsschel fails, he pressed his thoughts on the exchange between the competition in the Sofi Center and at the short point on the PGA tour.

“Inner golf, golf outdoors, two different things,” said Horschel in Augusta. “I mean, we have so much repetition and knowledge and everything, so we don't have to work so hard to learn how to do the recordings. It is more understanding out here, especially the breaks and where you try – the autumn lines and where you try to miss it.

“You can use slopes to bring it back into the holes.
