City of Henderson to approved the agreement with a family of the 13-year-old killed by ruthless drivers

Las Vegas, nev. (FOX5) – The city council of Henderson will approve a settlement for a teenager who was hit and killed in front of a Henderson middle school.

Already in 2022 we told them about Rex Patchett, a 13-year-old boy who went home from school when a driver lost control of more than 90 miles per hour. This driver was sentenced to 6 years for ruthless driving.

The von Patchett family submitted a lawsuit against the city of Henderson and the Clark County school, in which he claimed a lack of warning signs and measures on the streets on which Patchett was killed.

According to Henderson's agenda, the settlement was reached for Tuesday with Rex 'parents Jason and Samantha Patchett for 225,000 US dollars.
