Waxhaw's woman shot killed in Columbia during the break -in in Columbia.

Columbia, SC family and friends remember a 22-year-old woman from Waxhaw, who was shot in South Carolina when visiting friends.

The shootout occurred on May 3, 2025 in a house in the Cypress Street in Columbia.

The police say that Logan Frederico died on a firing wound on the chest.

Alexander Dickey is charged with murder of Logan Federico.

The police say that 30-year-old Alexander Dickey shot Frederico after breaking into the house and stolen several objects, including credit and debit cards.

Dickey is accused of setting the house on fire when he tried to get away from the police.

He is also accused of participating in a shopping spree with the stolen cards before the officials arrested him.

According to Skip Holbrook, chief of police at Columbia, Dickey is exposed to various charges, including murder, arson, burglary and great theft. His bond was rejected.
