ELV athletics continues to set academic records because the NCAA APR data is announced

Las Vegas (uninfrebels.com) – UnlV Athletics continues to set records in the classroom when NCAA published its latest data for academic progress rate (APR) for the academic year 2023-24 on Tuesday.

Nine rebel sports programs, all records by a perfect score of 1000 Apr (women's basketball, Cross Country, Menengolf, Frauengolf, women's football, women's swimming & diving, women's tennis, track & field, volleyball), while football is the program record with a single point stand of 987 in 2019)).

In addition, three programs have set their record for the multi-year APR score (Frauengolf with 1,000; women's football with 998; women's tennis with 1,000).

“At the UNLV Athletics we are very proud of our athletes and their extraordinary achievements in the classroom,” UNLV director for athletics Erick Harper said. “The APR data announced today are proof of their hard work, their commitment and their commitment to academic excellence. Our programs continue to show that success is not only measured by sporting performance, but also on the academic achievements that shape our students 'futures with our students' athletes.

The entire ELV light athletics department achieved a score of 982, which was the fifth highest in the department's history and reached the number of points of 983 for the third highest binding zone.

For the 17th year in a row, all 17 NCAA sports programs of NCAA Division I have a multi-year APR value that exceeds the minimum value of NCAA of at least 930 to avoid punishments.

The APR offers a real-time view of the academic success of a team every semester by pursuing the academic progress of every student athlete. The APR includes the authorization, storage and the conclusion in the calculation. Your goal is to provide a clear picture of academic culture in every sport. A score of 1,000 means that the institution has achieved the goals of storage and the satisfactory degree for 100 percent of each of their student athletes over a certain period of time. A score of 900 corresponds to 90 percent, 800 corresponds to 80 percent and so on. The NCAA implemented Apr 2003.

The youngest APRs are several years of prizes based on the scores from the academic years 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24.
