Two people killed after two semi-crash on i-80

North Platte, Neb. (Knop) – Two people are dead after an accident against the I -80 at the weekend in Keith County.

The crash occurred on Saturday at 11:45 p.m. miles west of Brule.

The Nebraska State Patrol said that one of Sergen Tas (31) from Jersey City, New Jersey, driven Semi -Semi had crossed the median and a semi driven by Lionel Rost, 41 from Conway, South Carolina.

Both drivers died on site.

The wife of Rost, a 38-year-old woman from Conway, South Carolina, was in the passenger seat and suffered an apparently not life-threatening injuries.

She was taken to the Ogallala Community Hospital and later flown to the University of Colorado for further treatment.

The crash is examined.
