Timberwolves vs. Warrior's game 1 prediction

The Warriors and Timberwolves will start their second round with game 1 in Minnesota on Tuesday. At Draftkings Sportsbook, the Timberwolves are a 6.5-point favorite and this game has a total of 210 points.

Timberwolves vs. Warrior's preview, prediction

The Warriors enter this second round after defeating the Rockets in seven games in the first round, while the Timberwolves defeated the Lakers in five games in the first round. Both the Warriors and Timberwolves were the lower seeds of their first round. Minnesota has the remaining advantage over Golden State when the Timberwolves have not played since last Wednesday, while the Warriors Houston just completed last Sunday.

Golden State and Minnesota are very similar teams because both are great defensive clubs that rely on their outer shots on the offensive. Both teams are in the defensive evaluation in top seven and the top 5-in this season with three pointers per game. In the regular season, the Warriors and Timberwolves faced four times and Golden State went 3: 1 in the season series. Two of these victories were in double digits and in particular all three victories for the warriors before they acquired Jimmy Butler from the heat.

In these four matchups between the Warriors and Timberwolves, Stephen Curry and Anthony Edwards were both excellent for their clubs and achieved 28.8 and 26.0 ppg. The problem for Minnesota was that no other player really contributed to the offensive end outside of Edwards, since only once in these four matchups another Timberwolves player scored over 20 points. The Warriors pursued the approach to let Edwards run the show, but to close everyone else, and the defense of Golden State will probably continue this strategy in this series.

Another big factor is that the warriors now have Butler at the top and that they were much better with the veteran, especially at the defensive end. Golden State is the No. 1 assessment of the NBA since trading with Butler at the closing date of trade in February and 27-10 is active with it. The Warriors would almost certainly have eliminated the rockets faster in the first round if Butler did not essentially miss two games with a pelvic contusion and another unexpected injury, Golden State will be a very hard trip.

The Timberwolves just climb against the Lakers after their 4-1 win, but Los Angeles was a very overvalued and separate group, and Minnesota should come to Earth if she faces the Golden State in game 1.

While the Timberwolves have a home place on Tuesday, the Warriors are simply the better team and they should steal game 1 in Minnesota. The Timberwolves also have a few more rest days in their favor, but as we saw in the second round of these playoffs so far, additional calm was no advantage and the team that has played recently had the upper hand. Although the Cavaliers, Thunder and Celtics in game 1 of their second round had more calm than their opponents and their homeland in the past few days, the Cavaliers, Thunder and Celtics were annoyed. Minnesota is only 2: 2 if this season is more than 4 days of break and at an appealing price of +215 on the Moneyline, the warriors are supported for the surprise in game 1.
