Isaiah Stewart's initial injury status for Pistons-Knicks Game 5

With their back against the wall, the Detroit Pistons could really use a defensive reinforcement in Isaiah Stewart. Will you get it for game 5 against the New York Knicks?

According to the official NBA injury report, the pistons are not ready to make Stewart's status to a final call. The veteran center is currently classified as questionable to take over the Knicks in game 5 on the basis of knee infections.

Stewart's kneeks date from the beginning of April. When the pistons took over the Milwaukee Bucks for the last two games of the season, Stewart was not part of the campaign. He landed over a week when the pistons prepared for their first round against the Knicks.

Before game 1, Stewart distracted from the injury report. In the end he checked for 18 minutes.

Stewart's defensive effects were clear when he registered five rebounds and two blocks. Although Stewart was a plus-eight in 18 minutes, it was traveling for most of the fourth quarter, even when the Knicks went on a big run to form a comeback against the pistons.

After the game, Piston's head coach JB Bickerstaff noticed that Stewart's knee prompted the team to endure him. The next day Stewart had an MRI. While he was not diagnosed with a relevant setback, inflammation was sufficient to end up with the injury report.

Unfortunately, Stewart was not yet on the pitch for Detroit. He missed the following three games, which included two losses and only one victory for the pistons.

There were no signs of optimism for a possible return for Stewart in game 5. Every Time Bickerstaff is asked about the availability of the great man, and he stood for daily timelines. The pistons keep the door open to a possible return, but it is possible that Stewart will miss its fourth time in a row on Tuesday.
