Deborah Seyram Adablah was detained for 45 days due to contempt for the court

Deborah Seyram Adablah was involved in a legal dispute with a bank manager

Deborah Seyram Adablah, a former staff of the national service, who is involved in a widespread legal dispute with the leading bank manager Ernest Kwasi Nimako, was reportedly imprisoned for 45 days for contempt for the court.

This is followed by a bank command issued by the ACCRA High Court for comments that are available through the judge, as well as her refusal to hand over a vehicle to the court registrar.

According to a report by Joy News on his Facebook page of May 6, 2025, Adablah was arrested and 45 days in prison was sentenced to contempt for the court.

Adablah's legal problems began after submitting a lawsuit against her former partner Ernest Kwasi Nimako, a bank manager of the institution in which she had completed her national service. She accused him of violating her intimate relationship.

Her claims included the demands for compensation for money and possession of a Honda Civic that she told her had been given to her.

On May 16, 2023, the Adablah court ordered the vehicle with the registration number GC 7899-23 to be handed over to the court registrar for securing until the final determination of the case. However, reports show that she opposed this directive.

Adablah continued to make her situation more difficult and published two videos on social media, in which she started personal attacks on the presiding judge Justice John Bosco Nabarese.

In the videos, she accused the judge of bias and unprofessional behavior, questioned the integrity of Ghana's judiciary and rejected the consideration process as “dead on arrival”.
