Community scouts killed behind the family of deputies while leading the traffic

Cincinnati donations from the tri-state and the country to support the retired deputy Larry Henderson.

Henderson, a deputy of a sheriff of the Hamilton County, officially retired in December, but remained as a special representative in the department. On May 2, he was wearing a traffic light at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Burnet Woods when the police said he was deliberately down from 38-year-old Rodney Hinton Jr., whose son was killed the day before by an officer.

“I was shocked,” said Scott Snow. “Like everyone else, I was incredulous.”

Snow is the president of the sign, an organization that helps to collect money for families of officers who are seriously injured or killed. The organization was founded in 2000 after the police officer Kevin Curtis Crayon was killed after being pulled by a vehicle driven by a youthful.

Snow said you can donate to the Henderson family on your website.

“Unfortunately we went through many of them, especially in recent years,” said Snow.

Snow said he was still working on what happened to Henderson.

“Just to align it by chance just because he was wearing a badge is unimaginable for me,” said Snow.

Snow told us that he was on the side of the Henderson family since the crash.

“There is a lot of grief, there is a lot of questions, a lot of confusion,” said Snow.

Snow said he knew Henderson. He called him the ultimate official, who took great care of the protection and care of the community.

“This is exactly what he did when he was killed,” said Snow. “He only helped people and helped them cross the street.”

The purpose of the sign is to help families like Henderson in these difficult times.

“We don't want someone who wants to remember the life of a fallen officer, have to worry how we will get there who will pay for it,” said Snow.

While they continue to take donations, Snow said that the purpose of the sign does not only provide money for the family.

“We are not only there to cut checks, we are there with you at the funeral home, we are there with you at the grave,” said Snow.

Snow warns people who want to donate that they have come across some fake accounts who try to accept donations.

To ensure that the money is going to the right place, he said that you can find the right Venmo and PayPal links on your website.
