Trump says that the bomb attack on Yemen is confirmed to stop Oman that US Houthi Wegfire | Israel-Palestine conflict news

Oman says that it is ceasefire between Washington and Houthis, says no side will appeal to the other.

President Donald Trump has announced that the United States give up his daily bomb campaign of Yemen based on an understanding of the Houthis, since Oman confirms that he has conveyed a ceasefire between Washington and the armed group.

“The Houthis announced that they don't want to fight anymore. They just don't want to fight and we will honor and we will stop the bombings,” said Trump on Tuesday with the Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney Reporters in the White House.

Trump claimed that Iran “surrendered” the Yemeni group and promised that I had no attacks on shipping. These attacks started in October 2023 shortly after the war in Gaza and said the attacks support the Palestinians.

“I will accept your word and we will immediately hire the bombing of Houthis,” said the US President.

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said the two sides were approved by a ceasefire.

“After the recent discussions and contacts led by the Sultanate Oman with the United States and the responsible authorities in Sana'a in the Republic of Yemen, the efforts with the goal of the de -escalation led to a ceasefire agreement between the two sides,” he wrote in one position on X.

“In the future, no site will aim to ensure the others, including American ships, in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab-Straße to ensure the freedom of navigation and the smooth flow of international commercial shipping.”

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Hofhis Colonel Council, wrote in a post on X that “Trump's announcement of a stop of the America aggression against Yemen is first assessed on site”.

“Yemen Operations were and are support for Gaza Strip to stop aggression and bring help,” he added, which suggested that the group would not stop their attacks on Israel.

Mike Hanna von Washington, DC in Washington, DC, explained that the agreement was not related to the conflict between Israel and the Houthis.

“The US State Department became very clear that the deal refers directly to Houthi operations in the coast of Yemen, especially with regard to US shipping,” he said.

The ceasefire is announced hours after the Israeli military has started air raids to the Airport in Sanaa, causing devastating damage and it is not functional.

Dozens of Israeli fighter planes also started several waves of large standards over night strikes on the vital port of Hodeidah in Yemen in a reaction after the Houthis reached the scope of Ben Gurion's international airport with a ballistic rocket.

The US military has been starting daily air raids in Yemen for almost two months, destroys the infrastructure and killed dozens of people, including children and civilians.

Al Jazeeras Ali-Hashem said it was “possible” that Iran helped to convince the Houthis to de-escalate their attacks.

“The Omanis were also the main mediators between the United States and Iran, and now the Houthis and the Americans. There are indications that the nuclear discussions are progressing, and a framework that starts through sanctions that are in exchange for nuclear restrictions,” he said.

“It is possible that the Iranians have contributed to convincing the Houthis, especially when we see that this reflects the Iranian-American conversations. It could have been an incentive that the nuclear talks were carried out faster.”
