Action News edition Explanation that has arisen one of the rumors from the Dave Portnoy video

Deployment

Action News published this statement on Tuesday afternoon for Social:

Portnoy published on Monday with a video clip that shows a controversial interview between him and a nameless action news reporter. This statement is an answer to the speculation that Katro was the reporter.

We mentioned this in both stories, but Katro reported the original story as a refresh on Sunday evening and went live in the news from 11 p.m. Her name is in the digital version of history, which was published on Monday morning around 8 a.m. It is very likely that she was written by someone in the web staff overnight. Portnoy was on the west coast (Arizona) and released his video at 10:36 a.m. in Eastern.

If you go through the answers to many barstool things, Katro's name was thrown around, so that action news 24 hours later came out to find out that it was not her. However, they do not mention who actually did the interview, and the statement itself is a bit strange. You talk about a “press conference” from Portnoy that only he addressed the incident on video. There was no press conference. And nobody questioned their reporting on the original history so that this line could be completely left out. I am sure she got some shit from people who thought she went to Portnoy, so action news came out to close it as they should.

Finally, repeat a paragraph from an earlier story:

We have a number of e -mails, and there are a number of tweets and claims that the reporter who did the interview is Tarhonda Thomas. For what it is worth, you cannot really see this person on Portnoy's laptop, so this is a product of people who listen to the voice and try to adapt them. The e -mails/tweets may be 100% true, we simply have no visual confirmation here.
