This elegant clothing uses an unexpected but perfectly placed material

Most glasses and sunglasses consist of a plastic -like substance, which comes from wood pulp called acetate. It is easy to shape, very durable and is very similar to animal horns and turtle shells that are used in the past for luxury glass frames.

As it turns out, Schildpatt -Acetat looks just as good on a clock as in glasses frames.

The streamliner Kennedy has attached tortoishell -acetate panels to each side of the housing.

Since authentic tortoise glasses have been a luxury article for centuries, the striking appearance of the material took on an elegant mood that made the modern synthetic version a logical material for clothing clocks.

But somehow Briston is the only watchmaker who makes shield -like acetate look classy in a watch. The French brand has been using the material since its foundation in 2013, but it never looked better than in the new streamliner Kennedy collection.

The 36 -mm square case Kennedy Auto has Tortoishell -Acetate panels that are attached to the sides of the vertically brushed steel case with exposed screws.

The inspiration clearly comes from Cartier Santos, but Briston has established an unmistakable look that makes it one of the best-looking automatic clothing clocks below $ 1,000.
