Google Updates Pixel Watch app with light topic

We do not expect a Pixel watches this month, but the Companion -app now has an easy topic.

Google has a handful of apps that only have dark topics. Until recently, the Pixel Watch Companion app was one of the applications that made a thematic sense when wear and tear operating system has no easy topic (given the battery restrictions).

In the past few days, Pixel Watch owner has noticed the light background. The app does not offer manual theme control and was last updated in April (version 3.4). So this is a server -side update.

This change is pretty simple. Pixel Studio follows, which will receive an easy topic in March. Clock is another app only app app, while some YouTube music users want a light mode.

In the meantime, the Pixel Watch should receive the next operating system update in June, unless Google considers it a problem that a bug fixer is worthy after the Wide Wear OS 5.1 rollout of the last month. We will see if we receive a new version of Wear OS (6) at E/O 2025, which is probably based on Android 16. So far there are no developer meetings about it, although there is a “topics” filter for it. When Google progresses, the Pixel clock will probably remain on the Android 15 release for a few more months.
