Rising newcomer QB Gavin Hollum receives its Firs College offer

The Prince Avenue has the next big quarterback in the wings. The Wolverines are known for developing quarterbacks on an unprecedented level. While many schools rely on transfers from the high school students, Prince Avenue saw quarterback after it is on the other's way and then goes to the Power Four level.

Gavin Hollum seems to be in line next. The class of the 2029 player has not yet reached high school, but he has already received his first FBS offer from the University of South Florida. While he's still young, he shows all skills and talents to be an elite quarters back both at the high school and on the college level. Although he was raw like every 14-year-old, he shows both the arm strength and the pocket presence that is necessary to play the position at a high level. In his 8th grade season, he threw 1,151 yards and 18 touchdowns, while he completed 64 percent of his passports and led his team to a 9-0 record.

The Wolverines will be reorganized after the departure of the long -standing coach Greg Vandagrärt in 2024. The former offensive coordinator Jon Richt will take over after four years of calls. During this time he helped to lead the Wolverines to two state titles and two final appearances, while he developed the current quarterback from Georgia Tech, Aaron Philo, into one of the most productive passers -by in the history of the state.

In the next two seasons, Hollum will probably resume the 3-star junior starter Ben Musser. Musers played an important role in the State Title Run of Prince Avenue last year. He threw for 1,472 yards and 15 touchdowns and added 768 rushing yards and eight more scores. His best performance was achieved in the state championship, where he performed 159 yards and a touchdown and hurried for 176 yards and three touchdowns, which made all four goals from the Wolverines.

Musers and Hollum are the latest in a line that has produced two Power Four Start -Quarterbacks in the past five years. Brock Vandagriff and Aaron Philo both started games last season. While Vandagrag retired after the season, Philo joins his second year and is expected to be full -time starters by 2026.
