Second injury in 4 days leads to a rescue in pentictons Skaha Bluffs

The rescue team was called to the area on May 2 to help after another injury

Penticton and District Search and Rescue were sent to Skaha Bluffs for the second time in four days to bring an injured person to an ambulance.

According to a contribution to Pensar's social media, they were called on May 5 after a mountain biker was injured.

How and where the individual was injured was not shared, but they were in steep and difficult access to the site.

The biker had been part of a group who demanded the rescue and provided precise GPS coordinates for the rescue team.

Because of her injuries, the individual had to be broken off for a long time with a helicopter to a waiting ambulance that was staged in Painted Rock Winergy.

Search and rescue flooring teams were on site to receive support and support for coordination during the entire rescue.
