Here is a current NBA story from the Associated Press:

Minneapolis (AP)-During the evening before a Win-OR Go home game for Golden State, Draymond Green had the ground.

The Warriors were in danger to waste a 3-1 lead in Houston in the first round of the NBA playoffs, said Green because he lost his serenity at home in a loss of game 6.

The defensive ace and the agitator of the 12th anniversary then delivered its characteristic fire and a serial height of 16 points-without his top-in a blowout game 7-win on the way to the excellent performance of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Buddy Hield, who will send the Golden State to the second round.

“We had some heart-to-heart after the last game,” said Green after the 103-89 victory about the Rockets on Sunday. “My wife, one of my closest friends, Travis, my hairdresser, who is one of my closest friends, coach (Tom) Izzo. I have merged the last game far too much, so I have relocated what I gave to the game for the last two days.”

Green's recent chance of redemption will come against Rudy Gobert and the wolves with game 1 on Tuesday evening. The Warriors are on the road again in this series and correspond to Sama No. 6 and No. 7 in the Mighty Western Conference after the well -rested wolves in five games bounced into the Laker in the Laker.

“They played their best basketball in the playoffs in the playoffs. They undoubtedly brought out a really, really hard series, but they showed what they were made of in this series,” said Wolves trainer Chris Finch. “You got us three times this year, but we didn't play them with the newly looking squad. Many things that have to be considered in this series. It will definitely be a difficult one for us.”

The wolves also give the Warriors a lot to superior and start with the superstar guard Anthony Edwards.

“There is a reason why the wolves are where they are now,” said Warriors trainer Steve Kerr. “You have put together a really good squad. Chris did a fantastic job as a coach, but you are where you are because Ant is a superstar. You have to have such a guy to build a great team.”

Green vs. Gobert

Green, the four-time all-star and the four-time all-defensive team election, always goes into a fine line how far he takes his aggressive game. He hit the Houston-Wachmann Jalen Green in his head and got a flagrant 1 foul in game 6, one of these worscher moments.

Green will test the presence of Gobert in this series in different ways, starting with the defense. The 7-foot 1-Gobert had 27 points and 24 rebounds in the game 5 against the lower Lakers, and the warriors may show to enable such production around the edge. Gobert is a four-time NBA defender of the year, who once won Green.

Then there is the emotional factor. Green served a five-game suspension in November 2023 because he had put Gobert in a headlock for a few weeks before he received another suspension because he had hit Jusuf Nurkic against Phoenix. Green went for therapy for help with the better control of his temperament.

“You have to play basketball. I am sure that there will be a lot of physicality, part of it on the sidelines of legality,” said Finch. “Surely it will say many things on the floor or outside the game. We have people who play basketball. We have to do that.”

“Sensible basketball”

Both the Warriors and the wolves angrily tried to avoid the game tournament on the route, and here they are on the line with a place in the Western Conference Finale. The Golden State, who achieved a large thrust by taking over the six-time all-star and clutch-season actor Butler, ended a game below the average, but Memphis to get the No. 7 seed.

“Steph spoke about it: sensible basketball,” said Kerr. “I say it all the time:” All we want is an opportunity. “They just want one chance every year.

Playoff Jimmy

Kerr constantly mixed his rotations this season, never more critical than in game 3 when the Warriors played and still won without Butler due to a pelvic injury, but he would prefer not to navigate it again.

“It fits perfectly because he never turns it over and we have been a team with high sales in the past,” said Kerr. “We always thrive when we had people alongside Steph and Draymond who can stabilize the game, whether it is Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, David West, this type player, and Jimmy gives us that when the game has settled.

Boos for Butler

None of the wolves, coaches or players were there from 2017-18 for Butlers 74 games with Minnesota. After 14 years of absence, he helped the playoffs to the wolves and became a pariah five months later by demanding a trade. Butler is certainly booed, even louder than green when he takes the soil in the Target Center.

“There will be a lot of sums,” said the security guard Mike Conley. “People want to see that.”
