Barstool -Anti -Anti -Semitism scandal: Dave Portnoy calls a student who filmed “F *** the Jews” sign

The student of Temple University, which was caught in the scandal for Sport -Sport -Semitism in Barstool, claimed that he was simply acting as a “citizen journalist” when he filmed employees in the Philadelphia Bar of the chain and was a sign with the inscription “F *** the Jews”.

Mo Khan, who uploaded the clip, who triggered global Fury, allegedly dragged on from the commitment to visit Auschwitz and learned something about the Holocaust, according to the founder of Barstool, Dave Portnoy, Jewish.

The video, which was widespread on social media, showed that a group of night owls danced when a waitress held the offensive sign, which customers can change for a fee. At least one seemed to give the support of the character and said “F ***” while he was shot by Khan.

After Portnoy had been made aware of the incident of Stop -Anti -Semitism, he published a video in which he said he was “trembling” with anger. Two waitresses were released, while Khan reports reported by Temple University and has deleted his Instagram account.

But the executive also said: “The more I think about it, they are young F ****** idiots who did that, they are drunk, do they really want to ruin someone?

“Maybe that's not the best procedure, maybe I can use this as a teaching moment … let's try to transform a terrible incident into a learning experience.

“I have spoken to both guilty people that I know that they are super committed … I send these children to Auschwitz, they have agreed to go.”

In a later video, however, Portnoy Khan identified as one of these two and claimed that the student now “no longer took responsibility” and “now blamed everything for his friend”.

He continued: “I talked to both of them, both made accountability, both were like” yes, we did it “.

Despite this alleged approval, Khan submitted an explanation in a now deleted social media contribution, in which he said: “As part of my regular series of videos of my experience as a student in Philadelphia, I documented what took place as a citizen journalist.

“Neither I nor someone whose username marks in the video that I posted, paid for, paid for or requested this sign.

“The credit card and the ID card on the table were not mine either.

“I hate it in all its forms. I grew up to be respectful and friendly towards everyone.”

However, Portnoy claimed that this was “a full 180” from his original entry and claimed that he had started a call with Khan, in which he refused to take responsibility for the sign and insisted that he was “put under pressure”.

The cash owner continued: “I try to do this at a taught moment.

“I won't send him [to Poland] Now … I don't need to lie. Do you think everyone is stupid? “

The JC has contacted Temple University and Mo Khan for a comment.
