The authorities are looking for video material of the attempted armed kidnapping of teen in Vancouver

Vancouver Wash. (KPTV) – The Sheriff's office of the Clark County is looking for video material of a reported attempted armed kidnapping of a teenager on Tuesday morning.

They received a report that a man with a weapon tried to bring a teenage girl to his car near 8:30 a.m. near the 500 block of Northeast 149th Street in Vancouver.

The suspect is described as a white man in the 20s or 30s with shoulder -length brown hair. According to reports, he wore blue pants and an orange hoodie and drove a newer four -door metallic blue sedan.

CCSE detectives actively examine and search for monitoring, dash cam or doorbell videos from the area between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on May 6, 2025. Everyone with relevant film material is asked to upload it to the following QR code.
