Key player suffers injuries to Warriors-Temberwolves Game 1

Anthony Edwards did what many hadn't expected: defeated LeBron James and Luka Doncic in the first round. He and the Timberwolves not only beat the Los Angeles Lakers, but also in just five games. Now Edwards has set his destinations on his next matchup with Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler and the Golden State Warriors.

While a victory against Curry and the Warriors would surely cement Edwards's status as one of the best players in the league, Golden State does not make it easy. In game 1, the warriors already suffered a hard blow when Curry was excluded after 13 minutes of action. However, the injury problems continued to Minnesota, with an important player being valued by you now.

Timberwolves Star Reserve Naz Reid suffered a leg injury in the first half and went to the changing room before half -time. In 15 minutes before the bank, Reid produced six points and four rebounds, but an amazing -15 box plus/minus.

Reid was injured at the end of the second quarter and dived after a loose ball after missing a three pointer. One of the sixth men in the league would be a big defeat for Minnesota if he is excluded.

Although Golden State has the lead, it is clear that no side likes to leave the first half with injury concerns on two of their top players. With a view of game 2, the series remains in Minnesota on Thursday with a tip for 8:30 p.m.
